Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The WIC Program of the Huron County Health Department is a supplemental food program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Michigan Department of Community  Health.  WIC provides supplemental foods which promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to the age of five.  WIC is a short-term intervention and education program.
