Geriatric Program

The Huron County Health Department's Geriatric program has been established to assist with the needs of all Huron County seniors. 


 

 

General Information

The Geriatric program provides assistance with:   
        1.    Making referrals for clients who need community resources.
        2.    Providing education at meal sites and other community venues on geriatric issues.
        3.    Collaborating with area physicians and hospital personnel to assure client needs are met.
        4.    Home visits can be provided to assess for client needs.  "Home Care" is NOT a service of this
               program.
 

Hours of Service

Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
